STYLE for HIRE is a service provided by DESiGNiNG Divas to assist homeowners (and the clients of real estate agents) organise, declutter and add style to their property before it goes on the market for sale, also known as “Home Staging”.
Buying a property is emotion based for the new occupier – owners. What they see and ‘feel’ in the first 30 seconds can be the difference between making an offer or moving on to the view the next property.
Our interior designers and stylists will use their knowledge, expertise and experience to assist you with your pre-sale preparation. They will walk you through your home and point out features and possibilities that will appeal to a potential buyer. You may also need the advice of our landscape designer to make suggestions of how to enhance the street appeal of your property. If during our walk through we find areas that need repair or maintenance we can put you in touch with a relevant trade or professional.
Organising and de-cluttering is the beginning. Making sure you use your existing furniture and furnishings to their best advantage is part of our recommendations. We can then suggest and arrange the hire and delivery of selected larger furniture items, if required. Then our designers add a finishing layer of style with additional furnishings and accessories – we can supply most of these items from our own style inventory. Your home is now ready to be photographed and presented to potential buyers.
The cost of style?
Our STYLE for HIRE service starts from the initial in-home style consultation where we take the time to appraise your property’s best features and point out how your home would present in the eyes of a potential buyer. We would then advise you on the steps recommended for you to prepare your home for sale. For homes within the Hastings area of Port Macquarie the cost of a home appraisal is $240. If you live outside the Port Macquarie / Hastings area contact us and we will provide you with a home visit cost.
From our initial meeting we can provide you with information detailing the breadth of styling service you require with a items needed schedule, timing and cost details. We have a few of Style for Hire packages to suit every size and type of home, unit or apartment and every size budget.
