HOME STYLING CHALLENGE

Positioned on the canal, this light filled empty apartment was a pleasure to stage. However, we faced a colour challenge. We needed to blend the existing terracotta accent colour and green trim in the kitchen (fashionable colours of the era) to create a fresh look for today’s buyer. Solution: within our eclectic mix of home styling inventory, we selected a large piece of contemporary art that featured the existing colour scheme, thereby blending the kitchen and living areas. The placement of a terracotta coloured woven rug along with specific homewares complimented the existing floor tiles to make the spaces flow from room to room.
