We are always looking at homes online in Port Macquarie and throughout the mid-north coast of NSW to see how they are presented for sale. And we know from the real estate agents we regularly stage homes for that they can’t always persuade the vendor to have their property professionally staged.
The result? Homes are not presented in the best possible light. Vendors shouldn’t be surprised that they don’t get too many Open Day visits or acceptable offers from their property’s online presentation. It isn’t the fault of the agent. They are doing the best they can with what they have and eventually most properties will sell … but it may take longer and a reduction in the asking price might be inevitable.
A message to vendors – if your agent doesn’t recommend professional home staging talk to an agent that does. Or contact us … we can recommend quite a few successful agents throughout the region who embrace home staging as a valuable sales resource.

Professionally staging a property for sale, on average, does result in a quicker sale for a higher price than un-staged or badly presented house, apartment or unit.
