Living in your home during the sale process.

Whilst most real estate agents prefer to sell a home without the owners living in it during the sale campaign, or while it is tenanted, in some case that is not possible. That’s why DESiGNiNG Divas offer an integrated home staging service. You can live in your home during the sale campaign. 

In order to provide a quote for integrated staging we offer a free in-home consultation. We will visit your home and walk through every room and also asses the outdoor spaces. We will give you advice of what pieces of your current furniture and furnishings we can work with.  We may suggest repositioning some items or move into other rooms or store during the sale process (maybe in the garage). We are happy to advise you on what you can do to prepare your home for sale prior to DESiGNiNG Divas arriving to do the final styling. The magic.   

On the day (s) of staging we would overlay your selected items with additional furniture, soft furnishings, artworks  and other items from the Divas inventory  We are the mid north coast’s leading staging company and have built a huge stock over the fourteen years we have been operating out of Port Macquarie. It means we are able to style all types of homes and be sympathic to the property’s architecutre.  We  will highlight all the best features of your home.

Why stage at all if your home is already furnished? 

This is a question we are often asked.  Our reply? Remember you are not buying this home. We are presenting the propery to numerous buyers who may not have your tastes. We will discuss with your real estate agent the type of buyer they think will be attractd to your home for sale. Very often vendor homes have an ecletic mix of furnishings gathered over years, many with sentimental value, that don’t present as a cohesive stylish home.  Oversized dark furniture that make the room looks smaller is something we often encounter and we will suggest an alternative way of presenting the room.  

A staged home means you will have a property for sale that will photograph well for your online marketing. Attracting more buyers. Then on the open days we will have created a home that makes a great first impression.
