HOME STYLING CHALLENGE
A recently renovated solid family home with plush carpet in the bedrooms, tiled family area and warm floorboards in the living room. Challenge: to create a homely inviting feel in a large space that has ‘nooks’ and ‘corner’ areas. Solution: we used warm natural tones to blend with the beautiful floorboards in the living room with an oversized couch that you just want to sink into. We created a seating space and made sense of a prominent corner with the use of art and a feature side table. To leave these areas bare would have made the home feel sparse and cold.
